Judy Adams
Our Operations Manager's story
Judy hails from a farming community in Zimbabwe and had a childhood that many just dream of - if they are into the outdoors that is. She immigrated to SA in 1985 (legally) – with the intention of going back home after a year. 25 years later Judy is still working and living in Jhb, a city she vowed she would never live in! (Although Nigel, where she currently lives, is technically as close to Zim as possible.)
Judy's 25 year working career spans across a variety of industries, from Graphic Design, Public Relations, Publishing, Production Management, Digital Image Libraries and currently Web Design, Development and Marketing. Her career at Talooma as the Production Manager has been a fast and very exciting learning curve. It has offered many opportunities that have allowed her to express her passion. Judy works closely with everyone at Talooma and is thankful for her amazing team.
Apart from being an avid gardener and crazy animal person, (she's the one your parents told you never to become), Judy thrives in the outdoors and has done a few adrenalin enticing activities throughout her life. These include white water rafting down the Zambezi, micro-lighting, paintballing and working at Talooma!
Her motto is "It’s not the years in your life that count, it’s the life in your years."
